Uprooting

I'm not a natural gardener - just do the lawns mostly. But Alison decided it was time to get rid of this plant which has been in place several years and got a bit out of hand. We had quite a struggle partly because we couldn't get to the back of it but a crowbar and brute force finally brought success a few minutes after I got this shot. The long leaves are not easy to get a good grip on.
