East

My favourite shop in London has two branches, one (west) is on Talbot Road, just off Portobello Road which is always a pretty nice stroll. The other (east) is just off Brick Lane which is always entertaining, if only for the sheer daftness of the hipsters' attire and garb.

So, I found myself East at about 9.30am and there was already a rather large line of folk and an equally large array of fixie-bikes chained to the nearby lamp-posts as some clothes shop dealing in fashion I know nowt about was about to open its doors and actually allow people in to actually, you know, buy stuff. I took photographs, I bought records then headed West where the market was in full swing. Food and coffee was purchased and eaten on a step whilst I watched people and the traffic go by for a while before heading home. Even had some photographs of people on bikes going across junctions and crossroads but I'll leave that subject matter to others I think.

London, records, coffees, markets, food stalls, could get quite used to this. Hang on, what's that stuff you need to survive in general? Oh, money, damn, knew there was something that was stopping me swanning around all day and living the life of Riley.
