Magique

Another day trip out, this time to the nearby town of Blois. And, thanks to the local taxi/local train combo working just perfectly again it was all very easily done.

Went to the 'Maison De Magique' in the big square next to the imposing chateau and as well as looking at all the optical illusions, tricks and museum exhibits we took in the show in the theatre as well, I was expecting a bit of conjuring and the like but not delivered by a man in a floor-length fur coat and oversized codpiece and a woman whose body became increasingly flexible it seemed as the show progressed. It was like a family-friendly David Lynch theatre piece being re-enacted before us and featured a pretty great soundtrack too. Two examples - this and this.
