old bike, new pedals

hmm..... haven't ridden a bike on a muddy bridle path for a long time, I think the combination of that and the first time I've ridden with SPD pedals on a real bike was a bit of a shock. I only came off twice - didn't think that was too bad!!

managed an hour lapping the country park - quite hard work as its pretty hilly.
