awww, thanks for all the kind comments about my one year blip yesterday...it was in fact a pretty shoddy effort but very nice to reach one year and to be able to look back each day and see what I was up to a year ago is great. I was thinking of not blipping anymore or not blipping for a while ~ but I can't...not yet anyway. it's annoyingly compulsive and there are faaaaar too many nice folk on here. and - I made the spotlight page! *doesn't take much to keep me sweet*

so, today I was up in ballater for work. heaps of tourists milling about clearly hoping to get a glimpse of a royal. not bothered about them, but ballater is just lovely.
