The Bright Side

A quick and simple blip, especially after back blipping about my weekend.

So it looks like Summer has decided to show up again and hang about for a while. Lovely blue skies and a warm weather, everything that I looked forward to as a child, especially during the holidays.

But now I'm all grown up and have to spend Monday to Friday working away, not able to enjoy the sun like I used to. It's made doubly worse with the fact that I'm stuck in the basement without any windows, so I can't even appreciate the view!

But that's what happens when you're an adult. I've got many things to be thankful for, a loving family and great friends. I've been through so much in the past year and though there are a couple of things that I regret, I hope that I'll have many more like this.

If life seems jolly rotten
There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps
Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing.
