Glen Affric

After night shift (and a wee kip), I drove north to Cluanie Inn and walked in to Glen Affric via the Caorann Mor. The weather was fine, warm and dry. The river was even so low that I was able to boulder hop rather than diverting all the way to the bridge at Allt Beithe.

The downside of this fine, dry, calm weather was of course.....the MIDGES! I won't go on about it but it is safe to say this campsite was grim.
