Elusive butterfly

Several of us have commented recently that, although the Gatekeeper is a butterfly which seems to have increased in numbers, they rarely seem to settle long enough for us to get a photo.

She is also worth a look in the larger version

Today (notably after the end of the Big Butterfly Count) they were out in force and one even settled conveniently close.

And it wasn't only the Gatekeepers who were posing
