Mice sitting

It's not enough that our house already has 3 cats, a dog, and a snail but somehow, we have acquired two mice to look after while their owners are on holiday. Can anyone see any flaw in the logic of looking after a pair of mice in a household containing cats, a dog and a snail?

Guess I wont have to feed the snail for the rest of the week then....
