1971 Silver Dollar

I was given this Silver Dollar a number of years ago and found it today lying in a drawer.

The blip shows the "tail" side of the coin, the "head" side is an image of a balding male (possibly president Ford) with a date stamp of 1971

I don't know if you still get silver dollars as legal tender or if this is a collectors item, I just like it anyway.
