~Reinforcing Bar~

Rebar is a bar of steel used to reinforce.
It is a common steel bar,
and is used in reinforced concrete
or reinforced masonry structures.
It is usually formed from carbon steel,
and is given ridges for better
frictional adhesion to the concrete.

I took four different photographs
of approximately the same section of
a rebar stack, waiting to be used
to construct a building wall.
I processed each photograph differently
and then combined them into a single image.
The rebar was in different stages of rusting,
hence the different colors after post-processing.
