Big Leaf Plant

Went to church in the morning, Tigoni Fellowship. Patrick picked us up and had a load of the LCC kids in his car too, about 15 of us in 6 seats (though admittedly some were pretty tiny). Church was fun. Lydia was there and it was lovely to see her, apparently she works for Uhuru Child with Joe now so i guess we'll see her some more.
AB came and got us and we went to Brackenhurst for lunch. (For those who don't know Brackenhurst is a gorgeous 'conference centre' place with a cafe and internet and loads of accommodation where random people stay and people have conferences there. Also the ACTS (the people i came as a volunteer with before) and African Encounter offices are there).
We ate and went for a wander round the 'running trails', i can't believe i ever ran those steep paths at this altitude, walking them is bad enough! We spotted beautiful shiny green birds and butterflies and bugs and G particularly like what he called the 'Big Leaf Plants', he got quite excited, this is a pretty small one though, the bigger ones were kind of hard to get near.
Then we lazed about for quite a long time until the evening when AB and Joe (and brad) suddenly decided to go the Kentmere for dinner. (The big group left Saturday night).
Kentmere is basically an old colonial british pub, it's a weird place, has some random stuff on the menu like lobster and rabbit and veal(!) and is trying to be British but just feels rather random and odd. Sadly my stomach went mental at me just from some soup so thought it was probably best not to eat my meal (though i had a tiny nibble). I think it would have ended rather badly if i had....
