Quiet Tones
All quiet on our home front today - a good frost greeted us followed by a bright blue sky.
I was out and about early taking shots of my garden in the morning sun. I came inside and sifted through what I had taken and found my blip - well thats what I thought. As the day progressed my thoughts changed and I found myself liking this one with the soft blue tones coming through the petals and a touch of delicate pink, quite unusual. I was also attracted to the tiny petals starting to unravel amongst the stamens.
I spent some of today catching up on my backblips - its always great to get this done. I can spend too long looking and flicking from one to another, sifting through all that I've taken. I've tried to portray a little of our trip to Dunedin, beaches, wildlife and a little architecture but really the time was far too short - if your interested backblips start here. I think my most precious one was taken on 28 July :)
Our days are certainly getting longer, sunrise just after 7.30am and sunset about 5.30pm.
Looking forward to coming back later to catch up with your journals, thanks to everyone for the lovely comments your've been leaving :)
Time to think about tea - see you soon!!
