Mists and tidepools

Wifi tonight! A chance to post a couple more pictures from this amazing trip on the Oregon coast. A weather pattern has set in: misty, cloudy, chilly mornings and bright sharp crisp afternoons: cool wind all the time, sun late in the day. This morning shot of three children cavorting near a tidepool on a chilly morning is one of my favorites of yesterday, although there is much to choose from. I have closeups of stones, of bird footprints in the sand, of sea weed and wind-wrack, of driftwood contorted and twisted by wind and waves, of soaring sea birds and great fields of sweetpeas, dune grass, and wildflowers. I have hundreds of pictures of great stone stacks in the waters of the Pacific off Highway 101. I even have a few shots of horseback riders in the dunes. But this one, this silvery misty one, will do for now.
