New Library

Wow, here in podunk Vancouver, WA, we have a brand new main library that is just beautiful. It's modern, sleek, "green", and stunning. This is in the main entryway and you stand there and look up at these words. There is a special Teen Center, computer center, Kids floor, and separate floors for Adult Fiction and Non-Fiction. There is plenty of places to sit, and there is a balcony with plantings and a lovely view. It has lighting in the stacks that has a sensor to know when somebody walks into that area. The light goes off when you leave. It is just outstanding.

We went there today to browse and look, then had a small pizza at a place we hadn't been before. Then we went to an open house at some high end condo's on the Columbia River. Zowie. New construction and the salesmen showed us and two other couples that wandered in, four different condos. Of course, we all liked the first one, the one for $1,070,000.00 Plus $800 a month HOA fees. Sure, I'll take two.
