Weed

This is a section of the River Lathkill in lathkill Dale.
At the moment the upper parts of the river have dried up completely and earlier in the year all the trout were electro fished out of these stretches and placed in the lower river.
Lathkill Dale is one of my favourite walks involving a bus ride from Bakewell up to Monyash and walking down the dale stopping off for a beer at the Lathkill Hotel in Over Haddon.
At the moment the Lathkill hotel is serving Beer Tapas, 3 different beers served on a wooden plancha, a great way of tasting all their beers and leave still able to walk.
