Space invaders (aka fun with a plant)

Another stupidly busy day today, and then it was raining.

Still, a woman's got to blip so I spotted an interesting plant next door and snapped a few shots of it.
Then I spent the next hour trying all sorts of effects and channel mixing because, well, it was all so interesting on this plant...

I had trouble picking one, I'll upload them all here. In the end I picked my first attempt at a more retro, grittified look.

That plant made me think of some of the robots in the old Descent PC game, with claws and all.
