Recharge

The 21st Century has reached the car parks of Headington - an electric car recharge point. I've not yet noticed anyone use it, but I guess there isn't much incentive to buy an electric car unless there are places to recharge it.

Not convinced that the range is (yet) good enough for my drives up to Aberdeen (for the Shetland ferry), but it might be OK for my daily commute to Milton Keynes.

There was supposed to be a procession of electric cars coming through Headington this morning - but either the route or the time was changed, and I didn't see it. Maybe the electric cars purred through so quietly that I didn't notice. 2011 Eco-Rally
