Sunbathing is boring!

As I try to catch 30 mins and abolish my strap marks, Sam hA other ideas. He keeps scaring me, sniffing & tickling ky toes or breathing in my ear!
He just wants to play now he's recovered from the shock of hearing the American civil war re-enactment in the park this morning. He was so scared, if he hadn't been his lead I'd have lost him... bless him. I know dogs, as a rule, don't like loud bangs but Sam is especially bad, possibly a chicken in a former life, and a human on another!!
Waking me up doesn't seem to frighten him though!!!
