The Coal Buggy

Off to the new Glasgow Museum of Transport today with mum and dad. Great time had by us all, and definitely worth a visit (or two or three....) if you haven't yet been.

Although not a great photo, I took this because of a story dad was telling mum and I about. It's not very clear in the photo, but there is a little compartment under where the baby would lie. Dad remembers his grandpa taking him in his pram and going up to the station to gather bits of coal to take back home. The coal was gathered up and put in the wee compartment, then dad was put back on top!
