The Never-Ending Collage
This is a shot of one of a few focal points on a collage I started in 2008. The entire collage is a rectagular 4ft by 2ft (approximately) piece of board acquired by old roommates. In fact, they used it as an ongoing art project for their 2year-old daughter, and invited me to contribute. I gradually monoploized and came to own it, and it's alternately inspired and intimidated me over the past few years.
There have been a few bursts of activity throughout its life involving paper and glue, painting, and random acts of oblique strategy. The last of these bursts was probably about a year ago, but the piece sits and sometimes taunts my inconsistent interest.
Maybe it's done, but what now?
