Red wall

Yesterday, sitting out with Derek in his sun-trap of a garden, the thermometer was showing things in excess of 30 centigrade, but by the time I left the sun was well gone and things had got much chillier - and wetter too.

Unfortunately, the weather shift continued today. Changeable is right! After bright blue skies and scorching temperatures, things were back to dull grey normality with a vengeance. So it was nice to come across this cheery colourful scene while out for my afternoon walk.

It's just a bit of a shame that I didn't manage to get things in focus. Still, it's still bright and cheerful.
