Today was a very sad day for me. I guess it is sad not just because I was saying a last goodbye to the little life that was inside me for so short a time, but also because it was a goodbye to a very significant part of my life. I'm not a religious person, but when I learned that there was a communal service in the hospital chapel for those who had lost babies each month, I thought it would be a good idea to go and draw a line under the events of the past couple of months. I'm glad I went.
