Beach Buddies
The younger children on Belhaven beach. Dotty and her boys are still with us and we had a walk down to splash in the waves after lunch. The older lads had headed off earlier with their boogie boards and although I looked for them, they were already at home by the time we arrived.
L-R Teddy, Gordon, Betty the dog, Katie, Charlie.
The beach was busy today, I wonder how many people were stranded by the high tide at the bridge? We just made it onto the bridge as the tide rose. A bit later, Dotty just avoided a wet botty as I arrived back from looking for the older lads - she was lost in her photography as the waves lapped her toes. Instead of taking a killer blip, I shouted a warning - doh! ;)
Now for Charlie's birthday tea and I then have to go out this evening for a while. It's Iain and Lindsey's not-very-secret anniversary dinner which will be great fun. No babysitter, so no Dotty though. Ah well, next time.
We have most of the day all together again to look forward to tomorrow :)
