Christian Fields, Lichfield - red admiral

I hadn't seen a Red Admiral for years. With such a beautiful sunny morning, I decided to go and do another 15 minutes Big Butterfly Count and where better than Christian Fields, a peaceful and undiscovered haven just off the northern ring road, Lichfield.

I was very lucky. I had forgotten that there were quite a few buddleia bushes there and there were lots of visitors.

and my Red Admiral, who teased but then settled and seemed to pose.
