Lines of Power
No blip for yesterday....didn't pick up my camera all day which is unusual for me.
Today after a fleeting visit to the Farmers Market I joined four friends for a pot-luck brunch. We go back to kindergarten and primary school days in central Otago. We meet up every 12 weeks or so and spend a few hours enjoying each others company and remembering when we were young and carefree.
This image was captured from the back door of the house we met in. The neighbours have this pylon straddling their back yard. There is even a hen house built underneath which made me wonder how the energy from the electrical field affected the chickens and their eggs.
The glass rings on the lines at various intervals always attract my attention and many years ago I procured a few from a second hand shop in Melbourne and used them as candle holders. very affective and noteworthy. I still have them somewhere packed carefully in a box awaiting the light of day...one day
