Busy Busy busy day

Up early, off to the market, then up the castle hill where Sam did a Tai Chi set near the summit (very fluid I thought. Most impressed with the Wife and her ninja skills) before heading off to Vence to see the Matisse chapel, or so we thought.

Instead we got off at St Paul de Vence (where this shot was taken). A very picturesque village that was full of galleries - it appears that there was quite an artists community here. All of that is gone now and in its place are a bunch of boutique shops and gazillions of tourists.

We stopped for some refreshments before SJ suggested we go up to see the chapel. We caught the bus up the hill, ran to see the chapel, as we only had an hour before the last bus back to Nice, only to find it closed! SJ had so wanted to see inside the chapel but no joy...
