Varying view

My new varifocals are strange devices: I can see all the way to the moon and the stars in the firmament, and a very very tiny triangle of clear vision when reading a book. I can even see microbes and other tiny tiny things... but can I see the computer (which I need to do daily in my job)? Not a bit of it.
