Don't Ask

We go camping.

I am setting up the tent and I notice she is rummaging around the trailer, she pulls out a cardboard box and with a smug grin produces these big ridiculous spring things with a spike in the bottom.

Unable to work out what they are, she demonstrates by sticking them in the ground then pops a wine bottle in the largest and wine glasses in the smallest.

I didn't have to say a word, I just gave her my "what a waste of money" look.

Just as I expected they didn't get used once in four nights.

Came in handy for an emergency blip tonight though.
