Back in 5. Or tomorrow.

Grey

This was a grey day for sure - it wasn't that the rain was falling from the sky, it was rather like the clouds had chosen to take up residence on the ground and make everything wet, wet, wet. We spent the day travelling on southern Öland with my parents, where we visited the farm where my father grew up, and went to the southernmost tip of Öland, Ottenby, where the lighthouse Långe Jan stands tall and birds are everywhere. (Ottenby Bird Observatory rings about 20 000 birds each year, and 377 species have been seen here.)

Snapped the shot while up in the lighthouse, the white things in the water are swans of course, and the black things are rocks adorned with seals. I'd say most every rock was occupied, though it's hard to tell from this distance. I only brought my 50mm, so a closer shot was not to be had...
