Inshore lifeboat

Scarborough's inshore lifeboat 'flies' as it races across the wake of the main lifeboat, during a launch for the local RNLI Flag Day today.

Although it is fun to have the opportunity to go out on Scarborough's main lifeboat, it was a little bit 'lumpy' (their words...) so as well as getting a good shower of salty seawater I was glad, when after some 45 minutes at sea, we turned back to shore. And lunch remained in me, not the sea, as it were...

Now for some fish and chips!
