Red Admiral

This Red Admiral butterfly was trapped in my daughter's conservatory along with two others; all were released after this blip was taken.

There was a Green Woodpecker in her garden today, as apposed to the more common, in her garden anyway, Great Spotted Woodpecker. Unfortunately I did not have the correct lens with me to get a picture of it, which showed the bird big enough to see!

This is the end of the first week of the school holidays so now I have two days off. Actually I only have one day off, as we are going to lunch and tea tomorrow as it is the birthday of Federico, one of the Italian children and so celebrations and cake are in order.

I wonder what I will blip tomorrow?
