Slow Blip day - in fact slow everything day as I did battle with absurd airlines. I want to book a flight from A to B and back, with one person going out and two coming back. Approach airline with cheapest A to B returns - they say B to A single is 10x cost of A to B return!! So I suggest simply buying two A to B returns and only using return leg of one. 'No you may not', because if there is a no show for outbound leg (A to B), they automatically cancel without refund the return flight (B to A). Instead, I have to buy a B to A return, which is 33% more expensive than an A to B return, and not use the return portion. On top of that, they charge telephone booking fees but their website uses cookies in such a way that you cannot simultaneously book two flights originating in different countries, and thus cannot ensure both passengers come back on same plane. Not using that well-known Dutch airline again!
