My darling child, 4am is not wakey wakey time!
"I am a lion, I roar all day. I bounce up and down, that's how I play. Reach up high! ROAR! Reach down low! Roar!"
Yes, I heard this jolly tune at 4am, followed with squeals of laughter. Eventually it stopped to be reawakened at around 6:30. Only a thud made the thing stop singing, presently followed by wailing ... She had dropped her lion onto the floor and couldn't reach it!
When we lived in the other house, we could hear the lion every morning faintly in our room, it's so loud when it's in the same room! And it's on the lowest volume setting!
Exciting news and finally the light is here - I am clipping whilst waiting for Mr G to get here so that we can go to Peterborough to sign the contract for the new house! Woop woop! We only get the key tomorrow but at least we only have 1 more night!
I am a bit worried about leaving the girls here on their own all weekend though, especially given how irritable Mum is at the moment. I'll mostly be spoiling them rotten when we're back in our own home. By the end of this short month, both my girls will not voluntarily go to their Nana. That's kinda sad really. Mum told me that she'll miss having such a busy house and half her housework done for her ... Truth is, I won't miss feeling cramped, dog fur everywhere I look, not able to go into the garden because it's extremely untidy. Ahhh ... My own space! I can't wait! X
Thanks for putting up with my rants the last month, tomorrow I'll be able to show you the new house ;)
