What a difference a little rain makes!

Hexham on a holiday Thursday. The town was busy and everyone was enjoying the sunshine. Then the skies darkened and the rain came. Suddenly people were grabbing umbrellas and dashing for their cars or the bus.

Thankfully a good few chose to visit the photographic exhibition of the Hexham and District Photographic Society. I was on duty this afternoon and I stood in the doorway of the Moot Hall with my (little) camera to capture a few images as people rushed by.

The result is a compilation of images achieved using layers. I've also desaturated all but the blues to go with the mood!

75 people visited the exhibition yesterday afternoon. It's on all next week and is well worth a visit.
