Altitude zonation on Mt Taranaki.

Walked five hours to a hut on Mt Taranaki. At times it was difficult to stand up due to gale force winds. I had the hut to myself, although shared it with the rats. This is the only time in two days that I saw the summit of this volcano Not really happy with the photo but it does show the floral zonation on this isolated mountain.
