Chicago

Chicago was the destination today and the guys were treated to my music for 6 hours! I particularly believe they enjoyed the mix from lion king to chase and status and Michelle McManus to lonely island! The group seemed happier than normal to get out the van today!

Chicago is an amazing city and is nicknamed the windy city, which has nothing to do with the weather, it refers to the fact it's politicians are long winded!

We met up with a second trek group and strangely there is a set of brothers from Kidderminster, a village only 10 minutes from my home, so it was nice to here a black country accent again!

The night was spent eating traditional deep dish pizza, which taste more like cake than pizza and then an optional bike ride round the city, I opted out of this as I can not ride a bike, bit lame at 25 but o well! Instead I went with 4 others to the pub!

The night ended up being a drunken affair involving way to much whiskey, Charlie hugging me for the longest time ever and getting woke up by badger and jeanine at 5am knocking on my hostel door laughing! Tomorrow could involve a few hangovers! Av fun xx
