A day of sports

Here he is again, in his kit!
The boys did a tennis and football day today at the local park. It was a great success. Ali, the not so sporty one, discovered he liked tennis and was "quite good at it", and Zeki was desperate to do the course again tomorrow as he will probably be awarded a medal, something he has been striving for. So, it looks like I will be forking out another £40+ tomorrow. Oh well, we're not here for much longer. Better give them the opportunity when it's there.

We had a lovely evening at a Turkish couple's house this evening. ?ulé had made the boys some of their favourite Turkish dishes. Tragically she has an inoperable brain tumour, which made the evening she prepared for us all the more poignant. She seems very healthy at the moment and so long as the tumour grows slowly that may remain the case for many years to come. I so dearly do hope so.
