Perfect weather, perfect day . . . .

It's been a super day - bright sunshine, cloudless sky and flat calm. The plants are growing, the birds are singing and the mud in the fields is finally starting to dry up. It is my day off, it's my 200th blip and it is my birthday! This was not planned but it's a great coincidence! All in all a great day.

After a nice leisurely breakfast I had a lovely morning with a good friend of mine, catching up with each other's news, drinking coffee and eating cake. She's such good company and is always so positive and cheery! She may be reading this, so I won't go on!

In the afternoon Ollie and I went for a walk with Leo, the little Chihuahua I brought back from Aberdeen, and his new owner. She is absolutely delighted with him, and he is as happy as a sandboy! He is like a little wind up toy and goes haring around Ollie in circles, wanting to play. It is so true that they are big dogs in tiny bodies - he is bold, inquisitive and almost fearless, and quite a character.

Was torn between a shot of Bobby lying sleeping in the sun, or this view of the beach. This is our nearest beach, sand dunes, seals, sand and excellent rock pools. Handy for the cemetery too!
