Poppy

Not another bloody flower!

Only a few came up from the wildflower mix sprinkled on the soil back in the Spring, but enough for a few photos.

You can't beat the red of the poppy. They're so short lived and those petals will soon fall. Is it possible to look at a red poppy and not think of Flanders' fields?
