Goodbye France

Today we leave France. We've to drive over 800 km (500 miles) through France, Belgium and The Netherlands.

We say goodbye to hospitable France after a month in the countryside on small, non-touristic campsites (municipal, on the farm).

We say goodbye to the land of 'du vin, de croissants et du pain' and the many many signs and statues of the Holy Virgin and ancient churches, castles and buildings and so much, much more.

And if you ask me to summarize the weather conditions, I would say: "Wonderful holidays we enjoyed in - with unexpected varied weather types surprising - (SE) France." ... ;)
