Soaking

On my way to my parents in the north. My three hour train trip started off terribly: I was soaked to the bone on my way to the station. Luckily I brought some clothes, so I could change in one of the train's smelly bath rooms. While in the train, we ended up in such terrible weather, the streets looked like canals in no time. I was so sorry for those poor people outside the train... Can't imagine what it's like when your house is flooded.

It's funny what a situation like this does to the passengers. Everyone starts talking, taking pictures, making jokes... One of the first times I experienced rain actually makes people cheerful!

I have some blurry pics of cars acting like boats, but for now I choose for esthetics. This is when we left it all behind, isn't the sky just spectacular?

Had dinner with a friend today, she should totally Blip! Hennie, waar wacht je nog op! ;-)
