Dull

Today weather wise has been dull so too has the kids at their activities as they are starting to wilt! Tonight its dinner with the committee so will have to put the glad rags on. Maybe a bit of a chinwag before coming back to my peaceful haven digs. Im getting too old to keep up with some of the more seasoned drinkers and as my alcohol level is three drinks anyway, I dont think I would be fit if I were to go over that. Don't know how some folks can drink pint and pints and lots of spirits and still look and sound the same until they try to stand up of course! I fear we have too much of an alcohol culture in this country, was watching a youngster last night whose father won a bottle of wine, the ee lad (aged 8) kept waving the bottle about and staggering around like a drunk in front of his father, my mind boggled just a little I have to say!

Anyhows the week here is almost over and tomorrow I depart for pasterus ne wwith a diffirent bunch of musicians this time ones under 18 though that doesnt make it any easier!
