Definitely a proverb to live by.

This little ornament has been in my life as long as I have memories. It used to belong to my nan and whenever I went round to her house I would take it from the shelf and sit holding it. I am sure it wasn't as smooth and worn down originally.

I have no idea where she got it from. I wish I knew. I seem to remember little red 'gems' in the eyes of Speaky & Heary. That might be my imagination playing tricks on me though.
