Gratuitous New Zealand Landscape

Yep, that is indeed what this is, Lake Hawea in fact. Of interest to me, as next April I will do a bike race around this lake, 125KM (if I do the long version)

Mrs PS was supposed to be arriving this morning, but more plane problems. So, instead she caught a flight to Queenstown, eventually arrived in Wanaka at 7pm.

So the days skiing was cancelled, it was very windy anyway, and the kids and I headed off towards Haast, and did the Blue Pool walk. Lots of fun. Then a BBQ beside the lake on the way home, another stop to plan beside Lake Hawea, and home to cook dinner for mum.

Fun day, despite the lack of skiing. Tomorrow.
