Bakin' and roastin'!

"Satan called and wants his weather back."

Apparently, we are in the 10th or so straight day of triple digits (on track to break the record of 68 days in 2009) and its been the driest 9 months in Texas since 1895, when the state began recording rainfall data.

Signs all over the place about "severe drought", water restrictions, fire bans and there is some hope about tropical storm Don bringing some relief in the form of wet stuff falling from the sky to central Texas.

Gives some meaning to "how's the weather?", now doesn't it?
