Buddleia Bee

Apologies for posting yet another Insect On Flower, this is an emergency blip.

I spent from 10am 'til 3pm having coffees with an ex-colleague then afterwards at my erstwhile workplace meeting her successor over another coffee while we arranged when to meet for a coffee and chat and also visiting a patient there, leaving around 5pm. I didn't get a single photo, we were too busy talking.

Anyway, here is a bee burying its nose in my Buddleia var Black Knight. Although it's also called the butterfly bush I have yet to see a butterfly on it: there was one in the garden, sitting on the soil, so that says a lot for the shrub - maybe it looks nicer than it tastes.

Tomorrow I plan to drink less coffee and pay more attention to the camera.
