Chemical Spills

These are my beautiful and trusty converses.

They got soaked with magnesium nitrate today at work. You can see the crystals on their plastic toes. My legs also got soaked, and much hilarity ensued when I had to shower, and wash my trousers, with no dry trousers to change in to. Luckily the technical manager had some very comfy joggers in her car and I lounged for the remainder of the day.

Although magnesium nitrate is reported as a skin irritant, only quality manager irritation resulted.
