In the City
We ventured into the city today. We dragged the 3 youngest of the house with us - our youngest girlie Arwen, niece Bernie & nephew Grim (a nickname!) with us and were going to take them to the Castle Museum. We only had enough change for 2 hours parking which is no where near enough time to explore. So instead, we decided to have a wander, grab some lunch and then go to Hobbycraft. We parked up on Rouen Rd and then drove round to Riverside. The kids loved Hobbycraft and I could have spent both a lot of time & money in there! We ended up coming out with some "make & bake" clay, some "Shrinkles" (shrinky-dinks for anyone old enough to remember them!), felt, foam, glue & paints. Enough to keep them busy during the days when the weather isn't so nice - pretty much every day so far it seems.
Anyway, we walked down to the Waterfront venue where I'm taking Grim and my 18 year old Asha to see The King Blues later this year. When we were walking back up to Castle Mall I spotted Dragon Hall. I never knew this place existed before, but after coming home & googling it, it's definitely somewhere we'll be going to in the near future. This is one of the doors.
