Calton Hill on a bright summery day

Little blip-spiration today. Luckily it's hard to go wrong with pictures of Edinburgh on a gorgeous day such as we have had today. You can just see the station roof, which is gradually being renewed. And, of course, there is a glimpse of the sea. It's one of the iconic views of Edinburgh.

Life is pretty humdrum at the moment although at least I'm not blipping new household equipment or yucca plants. I ask you.

We're off in a minute to see one of our favourite local jazz musicians, Haftor Medboe, in the Bosco tent. That's as exciting as it gets.
